About Homebrew Austin
Our History
Homebrew Austin was built by the community, for the community. We started when Rooster Teeth announced that they could not host their event (RTX). Following the announcement, the community rallied together and said, "F**k it we'll do it ourselves."
Sadly, shortly after the announcement, news broke that Rooster Teeth was shutting down.
However, the community united to support all the creators who lost their jobs and wanted to establish a new platform for their projects. Our goal continues to be bringing everyone together, showing our love and appreciation for the people who bring us joy and laughter every day, and just having a great time.
